Method and sources

1Results

Winning numbers are downloaded from the New York State Lottery open datasets; New York is a member of both games.^[1][2] The site rebuilds automatically several times a day, and each draw usually appears within hours. The database currently holds 165 Mega Millions draws and 1428 Powerball draws. Dates are US draw dates.

2Statistics

We use only draws on the current matrix: Powerball since 7 October 2015 (5/69 + 1/26) and Mega Millions since 8 April 2025 (5/70 + 1/24). Mixing matrices would distort the frequencies. Statistics describe the past and predict nothing: every combination has the same chance in every draw.

3Draw times

Local times are calculated from the official New York draw time using the IANA time-zone database, for a US winter date and a US summer date. Countdowns run in your browser.

4Prizes and tax

Prize charts and odds come from each game's official sources.^[3][4] The 30% non-resident withholding and treaty relief are based on IRS Publication 515.^[5] Jackpot records come from the Associated Press list.^[6] We do not give tax advice for individual cases; we point to who to ask.
